Full description

Parkrose Industrial Estate is a 19.58 acre industrial site comprising various manufacturing and distribution units varying in age and specification. The majority of the units have been sold off on long leasehold interests. The estate is accessed off Middlemore Road and there is a small security hut together with estate signage at the entrance. An estate road provides access to the units and there is a secondary access to William Street West which can be separately accessed.

The vehicle storage compound is bounded by the railway line to the north and is secured by perimeter metal palisade fencing and accessed via an automated car park barrier which is adjacent to a porta-cabin security hut. The site has a concrete and gravel surface and is lit.

Location

Smethwick is located approximately three miles to the west of Birmingham City Centre in the heart of the Black Country. The area is the traditional industrial and manufacturing base for the Midlands and benefits from an excellent local labour supply.

Communication links are very good with Junction 1 of the M5 Motorway located approximately one mile to the west which in turn leads on to the M6 Motorway to the north and the M42 Motorway to the South.

The Hawthorns train station is located within 0.5 miles of the site providing regular services to Birmingham Snow Hill and London Marylebone together with Midland Metro service to Wolverhampton and the rest of the Black Country area. In addition there is a regular bus route along the A41 Birmingham Road / Holyhead Road which provides access to Birmingham City Centre and Wolverhampton City Centre.
